It’s cultural appreciation, not cultural appropriation.
Telling me I’m not allowed to do something because I’m white, THAT’S racist. It’s like me saying that black people who naturally have curly hair aren’t allowed to straighten it because “that would be racist”. It’s not. And you only see racism when you want to.
You are taught to hate. You are taught to see racism in things. If I dread my hair and people tell me it’s racism, I’ll be happy, because it will be like the weeds picking themselves out of my garden - I will know exactly who is worth my time and who isn’t.
